8th July 2026 Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has certified Navi Mumbai International Airport, Maharashtra as an authorized port for import of Pharmaceuticals. The move is aimed at easing India’s pharmaceutical supply chain by accelerating the import of medications, vaccines and medical supplies. The inclusion will allow importers to have pharmaceutical products cleared through customs and regulatory processes at Navi Mumbai Airport.
