APSC CCE Exam Eligibility
The applicant should hold Indian nationality.
Candidate must speak Assamese or another official language or tribal language of the state for regional language proficiency.
The candidate must be a native of Assam.
The candidate must register with the Assam District Employment Office for registration.
Educational Qualification:
The candidate must have a degree from a university recognized by the Indian government. In addition, they can have a degree from an educational institution recognized by the Indian Parliament, 1956. Alternatively, they can have a qualification declared equivalent by the Government.

The Combined Competitive Examination is divided into two consecutive phases:-
(i) Preliminary Examination (Objective Type)
(ii) Main Examination (Written and Interview Examination)
Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination consists of two objective-style General Studies question sets, each valued at 200 marks.
Mains Examination: The Mains Examination will consist of a written test and an oral interview. The written test will comprise six papers focusing on the topic of General Studies. Thus the marks obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination (written part and interview) will determine their final classification.
Subjects for APSC Preliminary Examination
The APSC CCE Preliminary test is made up of two objective type multiple choice question papers, each lasting two hours.

Syllabus of the Exam
Paper I: General Studies I will be set in such a way that 30% to 35% of the questions are essentially related to Assam.
Test II: The minimum grade in General Studies II will be 33%.

The number of applicants allowed to take the written segment of the main test, based on the outcome of the initial test, will be 11 to 12 times the total number of open positions announced for each category. The written test will be composed of six conventional essay/objective type papers with a word limit.
