Age Limit as on 01-01-2024 for GRSEL Journeyman Trade Vacancies 2024

• Maximum Age: 26 years
• Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST, 10 years for UR, 13 years for OBC/NCL, 15 years for SC/ST where posts are reserved in respective categories.

Application Fees

• Application fee Rs. 472/- which can be remitted through online mode (payment gateway).
• Applicants belonging to SC/ST/PWBD/Internal candidates are exempted from paying the application fee.

Stipend during Journeymanship period

• 1st year : Rs.24,000/- per month
• 2nd year : Rs.26,000/- per month

Selection Process

• For candidates with NAC only, marks obtained in “AITT under ATS exam for NAC” will be considered.
• For candidates holding only NTC or holding both NAC and NTC, marks obtained in ‘AITT under CTS exam for NAC’ will be considered.
• The selection method will be based on a written exam followed by a practical (commercial) exam.
  Physical Efficiency Test (PET) of the shortlisted candidates for the posts of Officer (Material Handling Driver), Officer (Rigger) and Officer (Crane Operator) will be conducted in addition to the written examination and practical test before of the final selection. The PET will be of a qualifying nature. PET standards will be uploaded to the GRSE website.
• Written exam: Paper and pencil based examination with OMR answer sheets will be conducted at Kolkata and Ranchi. Depending on the number of responses, the testing center may change at the discretion of the management. No request for change of written examination center will be accepted after final submission of application form.

Pattern of Written Test for GRSEL Journeyman Trade Vacancies 2024

• Phase-I (80 Marks): Subject (trade) related questions as per relevant trade syllabus uploaded in GRSE website
• Phase-II (20 Marks): General Knowledge, General Aptitude, Reasoning, Mental Ability, Numerical Ability
• Time Duration for Written Test: 02 Hours.
• Type of Question Paper: Objective type with Multiple Choice Questions.
• Marks of Qualifying: Overall 50% marks in written test (out of 100 marks) (45% for SC/ST/OBC & 40% for PwBD)

How to apply for GRSEL Journeyman Trade Vacancies 2024

• Candidates can apply for the posts based on their eligibility only through the online portal. No offline/physical/manual/paper application will be considered.
• At the time of application, candidates should note that the date of written examination/practical (trade) examination may be held simultaneously for more than one post/trade.
• All candidates are required to submit an online application through the ‘Career Section’ of the GRSE website www.grse.in or https://jobapply.in/grse2024.
• All candidates must apply online where scanned copies of educational qualification, caste, category, date of birth etc. must be uploaded.
• Candidates are required to take a printout of the automatically generated application form, put their signature at the specified places and submit it along with relevant attestations (self-attested) in support of caste, date of birth, educational qualification. Send by post only to Post Box No. 3076, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003 within the deadline of 24 February 2024.
• Candidates are advised to have a currently valid email ID, which they will need to enter in the online application form. They are also advised to keep their email ID active for important information they may need through email and also publish it on the website.
• Candidates serving in government or semi-government offices, public sector undertakings and autonomous organizations should submit their “No Objection Certificate” from your employer at the time of documents verification, otherwise form will not be considered.
• Please note that if a candidate submits more than one application for the same post/trade, his/her form will be cancelled.
• GRSE will not be responsible for any postal delays.
