IITM Non Teaching Vacancies 2024

Indian Institute of Technology Madras has released Non-Teaching Recruitment 2024, Advertisement No.IITM/R/1/2024 dated 10.02.2024. Candidates who are interested in this Recruitment can apply online within 10 March 2024. The Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai invites online applications from Indian citizens possessing the required educational qualifications and relevant work experience for recruitment in the following non-teaching posts.

Age Limit

Minimum Age: 27 years

Maximum Age: 45 Years

Application Fees

• Payment of Rupees 500 (five hundred rupees only) has to be made through the online portal.
• No application fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates.
• The fee paid will not be refunded in any case nor can it be reserved for any other application.

Vacancy Details

1. Chief Security Officer – 01 Post (UR)

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks from a recognized University or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute.

2. Assistant Registrar: 2 Posts (1 UR, 1 EWS)

• Educational Qualification: Master’s degree with at least 55% grade or equivalent grade on a point scale with excellent academic record.

3. Sports Officer – 01 Post (UR)

• Educational Qualification: Graduate with Master’s degree in Physical Education/Sports Science with at least 55% marks and 5 years of relevant experience and must have represented a University/Institution at State/National level;

4. Junior Superintendent: 09 Posts (3 UR, 1 EWS, 2-OBC, 2-SC, 1-ST)

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences or Humanities including Commerce from a recognized university with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA and 6 years of administrative experience.

5. Assistant Security Officer: 04 Posts (3 Unreserved, 1 OBC)

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute with Military/Police/NCC/Fire training.

6. Physical Training Instructor – 03 (2 UR, 1 OBC)

• Educational Qualification: Graduation with Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent with at least 60% marks with 3 years relevant experience in any recognized institute and recognized by a University/Institute at State/National level. Must be represented.

7. Junior Assistant: 30 Posts (15 UR, 3 EWS, 8 OBC, 4 SC)

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Sciences or Humanities including Commerce with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute with knowledge of IT operations.

8. Cook – 02 Posts (Unreserved)

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with at least 60% marks from a recognized University/Institute or equivalent CGPA with 3 years relevant experience.
  one of two-three years Diploma in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from a recognized University/Institute with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA and 5 years relevant experience.

9. Driver – 02 Posts (1 UR, 1 OBC)

• Educational Qualification: 10+2 with driving license for light and heavy vehicles and 2 years experience

10. Security Guard: 10 Posts (5 UR, 1 EWS, 2 OBC, 2 SC)

• Educational Qualification: HSLC with physical fitness standards. NCC certificate desirable
