Candidates should be born between 1st September 2002.
Last date to apply for Sailor (GD) post is 31 August 2006 (both dates inclusive).
Higher age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates is applicable.
Only if posts are reserved for them.
Candidate should passed 10+2 in Mathematics and Physics from an educational board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE).

North: Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi NCT, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh.
West: Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa, Dadar and Nagar, Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep.
Northeast: Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkim, Orissa.
East: Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry.
North West: Gujarat
Andaman and Nicobar: Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
Candidates undergoing PFT do so at their own risk. All candidates are advised to bring sports equipment (shoes, T-shirt, pants etc.) with them.
The medical examination will be conducted by authorized medical officers of the Defense Forces as per the medical standard prescribed in these rules applicable to the personnel enrolled at the time of entry.
Height: Minimum height 157 cm. Height standards may be reduced from 157 cm to 05 cm for candidates native to Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal.
Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Garhwal, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Height standards can be reduced up to 02 cm for candidates who are natives of Lakshadweep.
Chest: It must be well proportioned. Minimum extension 5 cm.
Weight: Plus-Minus 10 percent acceptable in proportion to height and age.
