Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has released the official notification for Jharkhand Teacher Eligibility Test (JHTET) 2026 recruitment. Now the interested candidates can apply online to become teachers in primary (Class 1-5) and upper primary (Class 6-8) schools in Jharkhand.
The online application start from 21st April, 2026 and will close on 20th June, 2026. Candidates interested are advised to check the eligibility criteria, application fees, syllabus and important dates before applying.
Candidates must pay the examination fee through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or other mode prescribed.

Who is Eligible for JHTET Primary Level?
Candidates should possess 10+2 level of education and should have teaching diplomas or equivalent qualifications in the concerned subject.
What is the application fee for General candidates?
General, BC & EWS candidates 1300/- for one paper, 1500/- for both papers.
When will JHTET 2026 admit card be released?
The admit card will be released before the exam date.
Is B.Ed. qualified for JHTET?
Yes, Candidates with B.Ed qualification and fulfilling the required eligibility criteria can apply for the Junior Level examination.
