The Indian Army has sent a contingent to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, to participate in the multinational military exercise Khan Quest 2024, which will be held from July 27 to August 9, 2024. The main objective of this exercise is to enhance the world’s ability to maintain peace.
Historical background
The first Khan Quest took place in 2003 as a partnership between the United States and Mongolia. Since then, it has become a major multinational peacekeeping exercise. The 21st edition will be held in 2024. The final exercise took place in July 2023. TO US. The Indo-Pacific Command is one of the sponsors of the exercise, which is run by the Mongolian Armed Forces. This shows that armies from many countries are participating in it.

The Indian contingent consists of 40 personnel, including:
