Parliamentary body of BRICS: The Russian President met with the heads of parliaments of China and Tanzania within the framework of the BRICS Parliamentary Forum in St. Petersburg.

Speaking to participants in the 10th BRICS Parliamentary Forum in St. Petersburg, Putin said that regular meetings of parliamentarians from the BRICS countries would help the process of establishing a parliament.

The Russian President called for strengthening ties between the BRICS member countries, addressing issues of socio-economic development, improving the well-being of states, reducing international tensions and building a “more just, democratic, multipolar and multilateral world order,” said the representatives.
