Indian shooter Sabira Haris finished third in the women’s trap category at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Porpoto, Italy. It was a great sporting event. With this victory, India added another medal to their account in this important event.

About the ISSF Junior World Cup
The International Shooting Sports Federation runs the ISSF Junior World Cup, which aims to develop young shooters. Since its inception, the program has provided young athletes (usually under 21) with the opportunity to showcase their skills in rifle, pistol and shotgun sports. Each year, the location shifts to a different part of the world, giving participants a better exotic experience. Notably, the sport provides a great opportunity for young shooters to gain experience and possibly qualify for the Youth Olympic Games. Medals are awarded in various sports that meet Olympic standards. This encourages players to maintain a high level of competition.
