The Assam Medical and Health Recruitment Board invites applications online on the website https://www.medicalandhealth.gov.in. Interested candidates having Indian citizenship mentioned in paragraph 5 can apply at nhm.assam.gov.in 8 of the Constitution of India and must possess the necessary qualifications and registration with the Assam Council. Medical Registration or Medical Council of India / National Medical Commission for recruitment for the posts. Recruitment registrar/demonstrator/resident doctor, etc. in various departments of government medical colleges.

Educational Qualification for MHRB Assam Physician Recruitment 2024
MD/MS/DNB postgraduate qualification in relevant subject Institution under any Indian university recognized by the National Medical Commission (formerly MCI)/National Board of Education (NBE).
Postgraduate Degree MS (Anatomy) / MSc (Medical Anatomy) with Doctorate in Medicine.
Anatomy for the Department of Anatomy.
Postgraduate qualification MD (Biochemistry) / MSc (Medical Biochemistry) with PhD
Medical Biochemistry for the Department of Biochemistry.
Postgraduate Qualification MD (Physiology) / MSc (Medical Physiology) with Ph.D.
Medical Physiology for the Department of Physiology.
Scale of Pay
Rs.57,700/- – Rs.1,82,400/- PM (Academic level 10) plus other allowances as admissible
under Rules.
Name of Posts: Registrar/Demonstrator/Resident Doctor, etc. in government medical college. The hospitals are dependent on the Department of Medical Research and Education.
Number of posts and reservation: 526 (five hundred twenty six).
