Online applications are invited from male Indian citizens possessing the educational qualification and age given below for recruitment to the post of Navik Vacancies 2024 in Indian Coast Guard, an Armed Forces of the Union.

Indian Coast Guard Navik Vacancies 2024 Age Limit

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Maximum Age: 22 Years

Candidates should be born between 1st September 2002.

Last date to apply for Sailor (GD) post is 31 August 2006 (both dates inclusive).

Higher age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC (Non-Creamy) candidates is applicable.
Only if posts are reserved for them.

Educational qualification for Navik (General Duty)

Candidate should passed 10+2 in Mathematics and Physics from an educational board recognized by the Council of Boards of School Education (COBSE).

Pay Scale

Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) + Allowance/Other Allowances based on nature of duty

The details of areas/states falling under different regions/zones are as follows:-

North: Jammu and Kashmir, Delhi NCT, Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Chandigarh.

West: Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Goa, Dadar and Nagar, Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep.

Northeast: Bihar, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Assam, Tripura, Meghalaya, Manipur, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Sikkim, Orissa.

East: Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry.

North West: Gujarat

Andaman and Nicobar: Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Physical Efficiency Test

Candidates undergoing PFT do so at their own risk. All candidates are advised to bring sports equipment (shoes, T-shirt, pants etc.) with them.

• Should to complete a race of 1.6 km. in 7 minutes.
• 20 squats ups (Uthak Baithak)
• 10 push-ups

• Category Certificate {SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS}.
• Class 10 Mark Sheet.
• Class 10 certificate.
• Class 10 Additional Marksheet (If applicable).
• Formula to convert CGPA/Grade into 10th class percentage of Class 10 (if applicable)
• NOC from a government organization if the candidate is employed. Must have NOC From the date of submission of the application.
• Class 12 Mark Sheet.
• Class 12 certificate.
• Formula to convert CGPA/grade into percentage of class 12 (if applicable)
• Class 12 Additional Mark Sheet (if applicable)

Physical standards

The medical examination will be conducted by authorized medical officers of the Defense Forces as per the medical standard prescribed in these rules applicable to the personnel enrolled at the time of entry.

Height: Minimum height 157 cm. Height standards may be reduced from 157 cm to 05 cm for candidates native to Assam, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Arunachal.
Pradesh, Manipur, Tripura, Garhwal, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Height standards can be reduced up to 02 cm for candidates who are natives of Lakshadweep.

Chest: It must be well proportioned. Minimum extension 5 cm.
Weight: Plus-Minus 10 percent acceptable in proportion to height and age.
