India and China meet for 30th round of border talks

On 25 October 2023, India and China held the 30th meeting of the Working Mechanism for Consultation and Coordination (WMCC) on the Indo-China border issue in New Delhi. He called their discussions “thorough, constructive and far-sighted.” The main focus was the ongoing standoff along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh.

Recent economic surveys suggest that more foreign direct investment (FDI) from China could be beneficial.
