1. India to Embrace Hub-and-Spoke Model for Aviation

On 25 June 2026, India inaugurated the Hub-and-Spoke Aviation Model to boost international aviation connectivity from Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities. This concept will have travelers from smaller cities fly to large aviation hubs and then link to international destinations. The plan intends to strengthen regional connectivity, cut down travel time and boost economic growth through improved air transport.

2. RBI suggests more liberalisation of Indian money markets

Draft suggestions to broaden involvement in India’s term money market were released by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on June 25, 2026.
